The CCAC received two complaints reporting that there were public servants involved in illegal acts. After investigations, two public servants were suspected of entering casinos to gamble frequently and having engaged in "junket" type of work for a long time.

A staff of the Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau, surnamed "Lo", was suspected of entering casinos to gamble frequently and, without submitting declaration to his superior, having engaged in "junket" type of work for a long time and earned around twenty thousand patacas per month. The "junket" type of work handled by the public servant involved over 2.5 million patacas in February 2005 and over 2.2 million patacas in March 2005.

Another staff of the Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau, surnamed "Lei", was suspected of having engaged in "junket" type of work and provided services in the casino for a long time while earning eight to ten thousand patacas per month. The staff had also opened a personal account with the casino.

The two public servants have allegedly breached the regulations of pubic servants. The CCAC has informed the departments concerned of the cases.
