The CCAC carries out all the acts of investigation and inquiry necessary to perform its duties, in order to effectively combat corruption. It is also responsible for handling the declaration of assets and interests submitted by civil servants, so as to enhance the transparency and integrity of Public Administration as well as to strengthen the supervisory mechanism.
The CCAC endeavours to disseminate the message of integrity and foster the integrity culture in the community in different forms through various channels, aiming to gain more support from citizens for integrity building of Macao and encourage their participation in it.
The CCAC carries out ombudsman functions to promote the protection of the rights, freedoms, safeguards and legitimate interests of the individuals and ensure the legality in the exercise of public authority, as well as justice and efficiency in the public administration.
