1 Collection and Use of Non-personal Information

We neither keep identity information nor collect data such as names and addresses, if you just browse the Website of the Commission Against Corruption, Macao SAR instead of submitting application by running any Software of the CCAC's Website.

When you browse or download information from the CCAC's Website, our computer system may log down and keep the information from your browser, such as your domain name, IP address, access date and time, the pages you have browsed and the referring website addresses. The purpose of collecting this information is to better facilitate your needs. No investigation based on the information will be launched against users except when the CCAC's website is found with malicious attack by these visits.

When using the e-services from the CCAC's website, the software may use "cookies" to record your online experiences, in order to customize your way of usage when you revisit it next time. There will be warning message whenever cookie is saved if the feature of "detecting cookie" being activated in the browser.

2 Collection and Use of Personal Information

Personal data maybe required if you use the e-services of the CCAC's website. When necessary, the data will be transferred to the relevant government department which responds to the service, with your permission. The CCAC's website will not share your personal data with non-government entity except in responding to your request for service which the arrangement is authorized by the government, the transfer of your personal data will be based upon your permission and all entities must follow this Privacy Statement in the entire process.

To provide you more convenient services, the information you submitted previously could be displayed in order to save your time from filling in again. Moreover, in the course of displaying this information, the service or government department responding to the service will update its information. You can change the data if they are out of date (e.g. telephone number).

When you send an e-mail to government agency or choose to apply a service from the CCAC's Website with e-mail, you are advised not to provide any personal data e.g. ID card number and address except the request of these data is indicated as necessary in the services.

3Security of the Personal Information

The Commission Against Corruption (CCAC), being the agency responsible for co-ordination and maintenance, ensures the staff to comply with the regulation, and commits that the process of all personal data is under security procedure and the storage of these data is protected. Personal data will be stored until they will not be served in the purposes of they were collected, or the time-limit of storage as government data is expired, these personal data will be erased according to the relevant regulations.

You have the rights to check and correct your personal data stored in the CCAC's Website from, or from the agency that stores your personal data in its website.

4Hyperlinks to External Website

The CCAC's Website out-links to other websites that belongs to either Macao SAR government agencies, external government or public sectors, local or international private sectors. Clicking hyperlinks that point to other websites means you have left the CCAC's Website. Since the privacy statement of these websites may differ from the CCAC's Website, we do not take any responsibility to the contents and the privacy policies of those websites.

5Change to this Statement

The revised Privacy Statement will be posted without any prior notice if changes are made, and the revising date will be printed in the page.
