The Transparency International (TI), an international non-governmental anti-corruption organization, released the 2010 Corruption Perception Index (CPI). This year, Macao scores 5 and its global ranking is the 46th among 178 countries and regions in the world.

Results show that the countries with the top global ranking of integrity are Denmark, New Zealand and Singapore, all rank the first by the score of 9.3. Finland and Sweden rank the 4th with the score of 9.2. Hong Kong scores 8.4 and ranks the 13th, while China ranks the 78th with the score of 3.5.
