The 3rd Anti-Corruption Expertise (ACE) Workshop, jointly organized by Ministry of Foreign affairs and corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau of Singapore, was held in Singapore on 14th to 16th October 2008. More than 60 participants from over 20 countries or regions, which include China, Australia, New Zealand, Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippine, Bhutan, Brunei, Mongolia, Hong Kong and Macao, have taken part in the Workshop. The Chief of Cabinet of the Commissioner, Miss Ho Ioc San, was invited to deliver a speech.

The theme of the 3rd ACE Workshop is ¡§Excellence in Management of Anti Corruption Agencies¡¨, the objectives of which are to bring leadership and management personnel from anti-corruption agencies together for mutual learning in issues related to effective management of anti corruption agencies. During the workshop, areas of organization structure, Human Resources, internal controls, public outreach and operations capability have been discussed.

Miss Ho delivered a speech on ¡§public outreach¡¨. The topic was entitled ¡§Promoting Public Awareness on Anti-Corruption¡¨. Experiences, including strategy and means, of promoting anti-corruption awareness on Macao were shared and the integrity teaching material for kids and primary students were shown.

The Anti-Corruption Expertise Workshop Series, inaugurated in 2006, is a means to enhance experience sharing and mutual learning in different areas of anti corruption expertise.
