On 11 January 2006, a delegation from the Independent Commission Against Corruption of Hong Kong, led by the Commissioner, Mr. Raymond Wong Hung Chiu, visited the CCAC.  This was the second official visit the Commissioner paid to the Commission Against Corruption of Macao in his term of office.

Besides the Commissioner, Mr. Raymond Wong Hung Chiu, the delegation comprised of 5 other members, namely, Director of Investigation/Government Sector, Mr. Ryan Wong Sai Chiu, Director of Community Relations Department, Mrs. Erika Hui Lam Yin Ming, Acting Director of Corruption Prevention Department, Mrs. Jean Au Yeung Lui Miu Kwan, Chief Investigator, Mr. Anthony Cheung Chung Tat and Chief Liaison Officer of the Hong Kong Mainland Liaison Office, Mr. Raymond Chow Hing Yip.

The delegation was received by the Commissioner, Mr. Cheong U.  During the meeting, the leaders of both parties introduced their works on fighting corruption such as the characteristics of cases detected and the challenges, the prevention of corruption and enhancing community relations; opinions on the development of building up a clean society were exchanged.  Both parties expressed their willingness to further strengthen mutual case assistance, staff training, liaison and co-operation in aspects of corruption prevention and community relations.

The Chief Executive, Mr. Ho Hau Wah also received the delegation of Hong Kong ICAC and had a pleasant conversation together.  In addition, the delegates visited the Public Prosecutions Office and the Legislative Assembly and were warmly received by the Prosecutor-General, Mr. Ho Chio Meng, the President, Ms. Susana Chou, Vice President, Mr. Lau Cheok Va and Second Secretary, Mr. Kou Hoi In of the Legislative Assembly.
