On 5th Feb, an examinee of light vehicle driving test attempted to offer a bribe of HKD1,000.00 to the examiner of the Transport Bureau during the test as a means to passing the test. The examiner refused to take the bribe and reported the case to the department he works for. The case was subsequently reported to the CCAC and transferred to the Public Prosecutions Office

Today (18th December) the CCAC transferred a case involving a retired prison guard who had allegedly committed fraud to the Public Prosecutions Office

The CCAC has earlier received a report indicating that the chief of an autonomous entity of the government allegedly conspired with a number of businessmen to abuse his power and taking economic advantage of legal proceeding while awarding contracts of printing, procurement of display screens and souvenirs and cleaning service

Based on a complaint, the CCAC conducted the investigation of a case involving a supervisory staff of the Social Welfare Bureau who allegedly abused his power. The public servant was suspected to take advantage of his position to instruct a number of his subordinates to fulfill tasks unrelated to work for his relatives. The case was transferred to the Public Prosecutions Office today (10th December)
